A local ice cream parlor invites you to create a new wacky flavor. It needs to channel the very essence of your personality. What’s in it?
OMG, so how much do I love ice cream!! Only in the last couple of months have I really become hooked on Ben & Jerry’s. We’re lucky enough to have had a small counter open at our local movie complex.
And so every time we go to the movies, it’s always a triple scoop. Usually cookie dough, chocolate therapy and something like Scotchy Scotch Scotch or Clusterfluff.
If I had to make my own flavour, I don’t really know what it would be. I’d probably get something that tastes like cake – like a pound cake or a Madeira cake. As far as I know, those flavours don’t exist, so they would be something quite new and very different. I’m just not sure whether it would simply taste like cake, or if it would actually have small pieces of cake within the ice cream. It would be cool if you could get small chunks of cake without it going soggy, but as cake is so absorbent, it would just go soft and squishy – it would need to be chemically treated with something in order for it to remain a chunk of cake – but that’s not of interest to me – I’d prefer to be keeping the chemicals OUT!!
