Tell us your favourite crunchy thing to eat.
This is a bit hard because a) I love food and b) there are so many different variations of ‘crunch’.
There’s the sharp crunch that you get from foods like potato chips, or a duller crunch that you get from a biscuit. There’s the type of crunch that you get from something coated in panko bread crumbs and deep fried. Or the crunch you get from pop-corn… or pop-corn covered in caramel toffee. Or the what about the crunch you get from peanuts. Which is different to the crunch you get from cashews. Or the crunch of an apple. Which is different again to a toffee apple. And what about toast… now that’s a pretty damn good crunch, especially when it kinda crumbles all over your plate… but then, if it’s smothered with butter, you use a really buttery section to run it all over your plate to pick up all the crumbs… or maybe that’s just me.
Dammit, now I want toast.
