Daily Prompt – Custom Zodiac

You’re tasked with creating a brand new astrological sign for the people born around your birthday — based solely on yourself. What would your new sign be, and how would you describe those who share it?

This is rather difficult because I’m literally quite the epitome of my star sign – Scorpio. But I’m also on the cusp of Scorpio and Sagittarius, and I identify with traits of Sagittarius as well. It depends on my mood most of the time.

I would create this new astrological sign specifically for those who are born on the cusp, but the problem therein lies with the definition of the dates of the cusp. Some place the cusp as the 21 Nov. where as others list it as the 22nd or even 23rd november, but generally speaking, Scorpio goes until 22 November. I would make my new sign, Scorptarius, as those born ONLY on 22/23 November.

It would be a combination of both Scorpio and Sagittarius, but predominantly, it would describe this person as somebody who is incredibly loyal; a secret keeper; somebody that you could trust with your deepest darkest secrets; the person who would take something to their grave – unless you cross them, then they will go out of their way to completely destroy you and will take great pleasure in your complete and utter demise. You do not want to make enemies with this person. They would be highly independent, and self-resourceful. Very opinionated, and have no reservations in speaking their mind. They would be outspoken in some circles, and yet incredibly shy in other circles. They’re a people person, but also revel in solitude. They are fiercely passionate and make great lovers. They are deeply respectful, considerate and open minded. Wildly creative, and talented, and require encouragement and support in order to thrive in a creative aspect. They are deep thinkers and question everything. They hide behind several walls and rarely allow anybody in and trust them wholly.
