Imagine we lived in a world that’s all of a sudden devoid of color, but where you’re given the option to have just one object keep its original hue. Which object (and which color) would that be?
Living in a monochromatic world is something that I have always dreamt of, but everything has always been black and white.
Sometimes I’ll see a random flower that has retained its colour, and it looks simply breathtaking because the colour looks so much more vibrant, compared to the dull, lifeless, monochrome surroundings.
I think that if I had to choose, it would be a choice between the green grass, the blue ocean or the warming glow of the sun.
There’s a case for each of those, and if you’ve ever truly stopped to enjoy the variety of colours in each of them, then you’ll truly understand where I’m coming from.
