Do you feel you have found your voice on your blog? What techniques have you tried to develop your voice in your writing? What are some characteristics of your personality in your writing?
I think I’m yet to find my blog voice. I think if I really want to try and find my voice, maybe I need to stop with all these daily challenges and focus on weekly creative tasks instead.
Currently I write like I talk, and when I re read certain posts, I just hear my own voice which I think is okay, but it’s certainly not refined enough or feature the proper level of vocabulary I’d like to be able to use.
I find that I read other people’s posts, and they read so well, in my head I’m thinking ‘I could’ve written that, easily!’, But when I actually try to, I just can’t find the adequate words to explain things.
I really need to work on my vocab. Perhaps that will be a right step in trying to find my ‘voice’.
