“Good things come to those who wait.” Do you agree? How long is it reasonable to wait for something you really want?
Yes, well it’s all well and good to say that, however the reality is that good things generally come to those who have money, or don’t deserve it.
It’s sounds a little jaded, but I’m the person who has always had their eyes on something; a goal, but it’s always been just out of my reach.
Perhaps I’ve been setting my sights too high?
Perhaps I’ve been too complacent and not being active enough in pursuit of my goals?
I’ve been the person who would do all the work on a group project, just to have the others take all the credit for it, without actually contributing anything. I’ve been the person who has worked hard to achieve something and then haven’t been able to achieve it. And this is across all facets of my life.
Yes, it’s always nice to say that good things come to those who wait, but how long are you supposed to continue to wait, when you’re continuously being faced with knock-backs and disappointment?
Keep hustling. If you’re putting in the work, awesome will come. Take care.
I like that, ‘keep hustling’. Perhaps I need to do that more.
Thanks Bradley!
