Who do you like to be with when you’re feeling sad?
Myself.
Usually when I’m sad, I really prefer to be by myself, and either sleep, eat, cry, write, play video games – or a combination of all the above. It’s become something of a coping mechanism for me.
Sometimes I’d go away for a few days, either back home and literally, sleep all day every day, and that was haven for me. Time to rest and recharge.
Or, if I actually made the bold move of actually telling somebody else, like my friends, then I’d keep myself distracted by hanging out with them and doing things that I wouldn’t necessarily do normally – Like go to an art exhibition, or lay in the botanical gardens, or just go exploring the city.
But most of the time I just prefer my own company.
