You have to choose one flavor that your sense of taste will no longer be able to distinguish. Sweet, sour, bitter, salty, umami, spicy (not a taste per se, but we’re generous): which one do you choose to lose?
I would probably opt for spicy, because you’re being so generous. And also because next time I get takeaway and they say ‘Mild’, I don’t have to deal with the severe sweating, burning sensation in my mouth and the fucking traumatic bowel movements the next day. Continue reading →
Do you follow recipes to a T, or do you play around with recipes, making adjustments?
Well, considering that most of the cooking that I do is baking, so naturally everything that I make has a recipe which needs to be followed to a T. I’ve learnt several times over the years that when you adjust a recipes ingredients, even slightly, it can have such extreme effects.
