You have to write a message to someone dear to you, telling that person how much he/she means to you. However — instead of words, you can only use 5-10 objects to convey your emotions. Which objects do you choose, and what do they mean?

This confuses me.

20 Nov – A Book Inside

Do you have a book in you? Fact or fiction? Related to your blog or totally different?

I like to think that I have a few books inside of me. However I doubt I’d ever get around to actually writing them. Sounds very defeatist of me, huh.

Daily Prompt – Salad Days

Is there a period in your own personal life that you think of as the good old days? Tell us a story about those innocent and/or exciting times (or lack thereof).

There are several different periods that I refer to as the good old days. Like when I was a kid living in the country. Or when it was just mum and I living together. Or the first couple of years I was living in Melbourne. Or the times I spent with my previous best friend.

So it’s hard to focus on just one.

Tell us about your favourite costume from childhood.

Growing up, I didn’t really have ‘costumes’.  We didn’t do halloween, and even when we did, we didn’t really get into costumes. For us, Halloween was done at night, but it was always so incredibly hot, so costumes had to involve a singlet, shorts and thongs. Maybe some face paint.

What’s your earliest memory involving another person? Recreate the scene — from the other person’s perspective.

One of my earliest memories was perhaps when I was about 2 or 3 years old. I must have only just recently learnt how to walk, and at the time we lived in a small block of flats on the ground floor.

When was the last time you went to a campfire/bonfire? Tell us about it.

One of the things that I miss the most about my childhood home were the bonfires that we used to have.

Daily Prompt – Hand-Me-Downs

Clothes and toys, recipes and jokes, advice and prejudice: we all have to handle all sorts of hand-me-downs every day. Tell us about some of the meaningful hand-me-downs in your life.

I’ve experienced hand-me-downs all my life from clothing to recipes to advice, I’ve had it all, from different people in different facets, and it’s quite hard to pinpoint a few.

I think I’d much rather focus of having imagination as a mistress… Although I’m not sure how my boyfriend would feel about that…

When I was a kid I had all different kinds of fucked up images of what adulthood was going to be like… and it’s nothing like I thought.
