It’s Halloween, and you just ran out of candy. If the neighborhood kids (or anyone else, really) were to truly scare you, what trick would they have to subject you to?
So, I’m one of those people who hasn’t really got any qualms about watching a scary movie… unless I’m in a big empty house, and I’m all alone and my mind is getting the better of me, then I’m a totally mess.
Tell us if you’re going to dress up tonight for Halloween. (And better yet, show us a picture of your costume!)
Sorry everybody, didn’t do anything for Halloween this year, I was kind of pre-occupied working over in Auckland for almost 2 weeks, and trying my hardest to fight off the flu.
Surprisingly though, the people in Auckland really seemed to get into the spirit of Halloween which I really didn’t get, because it’s such an American tradition, but I saw costumes all around me on the way back from buying cold & flu tablets at the chemist near my hotel.
Tell us about your favourite costume from childhood.
Growing up, I didn’t really have ‘costumes’. We didn’t do halloween, and even when we did, we didn’t really get into costumes. For us, Halloween was done at night, but it was always so incredibly hot, so costumes had to involve a singlet, shorts and thongs. Maybe some face paint.
Pumpkin spiced flavoured everything: can’t get enough OR enough already!
Unless you’re drinking your Starbucks religiously, the whole ‘pumpkin spice’ concept really doesn’t exist here in Australia, as it’s predominantly a purely American thing for ‘fall’ and leading up towards Halloween.
I’m not exactly a big fan of pumpkin in the first place, let alone anything pumpkin-spiced.
Sorry, but you guys can have it all to yourselves.
