What is your favorite holiday memory? (And yes, you can pick any holiday, including your birthday.)

 

I don’t really have a favorite memory, probably because we never went on holidays.

500 years from now, an archaeologist accidentally stumbles on the ruins of your home, long buried underground. What will she learn about early-21st-century humans by going through (what remains of) your stuff?

Angela blew the whistle with so much excitement and threw her hands up in the air, ‘Guys! Guys! I found something! Quick, come and be I it out!’ As she waited for the others to stop what they were doing and come over, Angela pressed a button and a small drone began to levitate over one area with a small brush to start gently brushing away layers of dirt from the partially uncovered object.

You return home to discover a huge flower bouquet waiting for you, no card attached. Who is it from — and why did they send it to you?

Philip arrived home to see a perfectly arranged bouquet of flowers waiting for him behind the pillar on the front porch. Such vibrant colours, and so elegantly presented. He bent down to pick them up and then searched for the card, turning the arrangement around nervously in his hands.

No card.

Do you think the key to happiness is being able to forget?

Not in the slightest. I think that not being able to have memories is quite detrimental to happiness. Show me somebody with Alzheimers who can honestly say they are truly happy…!!

How do you remember blog posts you want to write until you’re ready to sit down at the computer? Do you have a system in place, why or why not?

I’ve already got a couple of posts in mind that I want to write… eventually. All I need to do now is try and find some free time to actually write them.

Well it’s been a long time since I’ve needed to remember chunks of info, and it doesn’t help having a memory like a sieve.
