When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?
Even as a person in their early-thirties, I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up…

Do you miss the holiday season when it’s months away? When you’re in the midst of holiday madness, do you enjoy it, or can’t wait for it to be over?
This recent holiday season, I really couldn’t be bothered. I was so completely disorganised, it was embarrassing.
If you could permanently get rid of one worry, what would it be?
If I could get rid of one worry, it would be financial worries.

Someone’s left you a voicemail message, but all you can make out are the last words: “I’m sorry. I should’ve told you months ago. Bye.” Who is it from, and what is this about?
Abbey burst through the front door, her arms full of shopping bags, her sunglasses fallen down on her face, keys hanging in her hand. She stumbled down the hallway towards the kitchen, attempting to drop her keys into the bowl on the sideboard. ‘Fuck!’, she growled as the keys missed the bowl and landed on the ground.
A restaurant that removed your favorite item from the menu, a bad cover of a great song… Write a post about something that should’ve been left untouched, but wasn’t. Why was the original better?
Ahahahaha anybody who knows the industry that I work in will probably have two distinct words in their minds:

Autumn reminds us that everything changes. What do you wish you could change in your life right now?
I really wish I could change my bank account balance.
A second #RoyalBaby will soon be joining the Windsors in England. Given the choice, would you rather be heir to the throne, or the (probably) off-the-hook sibling?
I can’t say I really care too much about the whole Royal Baby excitement. Yeah, Kate’s pregnant and well, good for her, but I just don’t get people’s obsession over it. But the. Again, they’re also obsessed with Kim Kardashian and she’s famous for nothing.
If I we’re given a choice I don’t actually know what I would choose.
I’d like to be heir to the throne, because it would be a great opportunity to implement change into a country and not be swayed by secret dealings and handshakes and back-room agreements that Are solely for specific political gains. I’d use my powers to do positive things for the country, like pass laws for marriage equality, and invest money into renewable energy sources, and healthcare – the things that are important to people (and myself).
However, that’s not to say being the sibling wouldn’t have it’s perks either. I could be the ‘Harry’ and have a great time travelling to world and just doing my own thing. I could get involved in charities and do all types of community service… or I could stay within the confines of the Castle, and eat and sleep and play video games. Or I could go work or study overseas… knowing that money really isn’t an issue, I could go and do, literally anything that I truly wanted to do.
And that wouldn’t be such a bad thing either. It would take all the pressure off having to run a country, I guess.
If money were out of the equation, would you still work? If yes, why, and how much? If not, what would you do with your free time?
If money were out of the equation, then that four-letter word would be practically blasphemous! Continue reading
What are 10 things you pack whenever you travel?
Travel essentials:
1) Travel docs – passport, flight itinerary, travel insurance docs, hotel booking etc. I keep everything on my iPad, and take a paper copy with me just to be sure.
2) Money – local currency, international currency, travel money card, credit cards
3) Toiletries
4) Devices – iPad, iPhone, laptop etc
5) CHARGERS!!
6) Entertainment – enough movies / tv shows to last the flight there and back
7) Appropriate footwear – a casual pair and a dressy pair as a minimum.
8) Appropriate clothing – including something to wear to the gym and something to go out to dinner / drinks in.
9) PLENTY of socks and jocks – you can never be too careful.
10) Travel SIM card for my phone, already with phone credit so it’s ready to go as soon as I land.
You just inherited $1,000,000 from an aunt you didn’t even know existed. What’s the first thing you buy (or otherwise use the money for)?
Twenty years ago, a million dollars would have bought you so much, nowadays, it really doesn’t buy you much. Most people are probably going to say the same generic things like, buy a house, buy a car, go on a holiday, go shopping etc… but the money wouldn’t really stretch that far if they wanted to do all of that.
