Daily Prompt – The Language of Things

You have to write a message to someone dear to you, telling that person how much he/she means to you. However — instead of words, you can only use 5-10 objects to convey your emotions. Which objects do you choose, and what do they mean?

Daily Prompt – One At A Time

Today, write a post about the topic of your choice — using only one-syllable words.

Xmas.

Much stress. Much gifts.

I wrap gifts like a boss. Matte wraps and fun bows.

Smooth like silk with a bit of sheen. Scotch tape makes it soeasy.

Hard to make bows are,

well, hard, but look great when done

– if you can get it. Gifts for him and her and them

but none for me. All my gifts are cocoa-based. And so YUM!

They say I’m hard to buy for, but I’m not.

It is so easy. Gift cards make it so. When in doubt, cards

for tunes can sort it out, and I get to buy what I like. I say cards are good,

but some say they are not. I love tunes, so it is good for me, but not for those who do not

like tunes. Try a film gift card instead.

We all like a good film now and then.

If your life were a movie, what would its soundtrack be like? What songs, instrumental pieces, and other sound effects would be featured on the official soundtrack album?

My lifetime movie would have the same kind of soundtrack like an episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

Full of fun music and pop songs, as well as heart-wrenching emotional ballads for all the sad times.

Daily Prompt – Buyers, Beware?

The year is 2214, and your computer’s dusty hard drive has just resurfaced at an antique store. Write a note to the curious buyer explaining what he or she will find there.

Congratulations! You have purchased something that is now an antique. On this computer you will find an abundance of information that was useful to me back when I was alive.

I am also entrusting you with my entire online life. I have provided you a thorough list of all the websites for all my accounts, complete with login information and all my passwords.

You will also, hopefully, have attached to this one or more external drives that are also full of things like photos, music and videos. I’d they are not here, there are still lots of them on this machine… You just have to find them. CHALLENGE!!

Feel free to watch all the tv shows I have on here, it’ll give you some insight into what Entertainment was like for us back on the day. It may be highly valuable in case society had no collection of digital media for historical purposes. In that case, you could be sitting on a gold mine.
