Daily Prompt – 190 Days Later

Back on January 21st, we asked you to predict what day #211 would be like. Well, July 30th is that day — how have your predictions held up so far? If you didn’t reply to the prompt at the time, is this year turning out to be as you’d expected?

Well as predicted, it was payday, and I certainly paid all my bills, and my rent and now I’m broke for the rest of the fortnight.

However, that was really the only really accurate prediction. I didn’t get a day off, nor was I in the city killing time before gym. Although I did actually go to the gym, but it was to do my rehab exercises instead of doing a class. I haven’t done a class for seven weeks and it’s driving me cray-cray.

I did however manage to write a truck load of posts, although in saying that I’m still trying to catch up, and sometimes I wonder if I actually will catch up, or will I always be stuck with a backlog of posts to write?

Daily Prompt: Predictions

There are 344 days remaining in the year. Describe what you’d like to be doing on day 211. (Hint: that’s July 30th.)

July 30th? Let me check my calendar…

Well, all my calendar tells me is that it will be a Wednesday, and it will be payday. So at least one thing is guaranteed – I’ll be transferring money from one account to another for half the month’s rent.

I’ll also be at work, no doubt, and then heading to the gym after work.

HOWEVER… as enthralling as all of that is, I would much prefer to be having a day off, or at least going to see a show, or even better, be somewhere overseas, in the sun, on the beach, soaking up some rays and having massages.

By that stage I will have written (hopefully) another 324-or-so posts in my blog (WOW, that seems like a lot, but it’s accurate!!) and will no doubt be sitting in the same place I am right now, writing away before I go to the gym.

I’d also like to have a nice little bank balance accumulating for an upcoming trip overseas…

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Daily Prompt: About Page of the Future

Write the About page for your blog in 10 years.

After a minor spinal injury forced Anonomouse out of a demanding and gruelling life of dance, he spent several years working for a not-for-profit which lead to the creation of his (now published) infamous blog, The Receptionist Diaries: What is wrong with people?. Since then, he has gone on to publish several articles and two novels.

When he’s not in his studio helping clients de-stress and tension melt away from well-needed massage treatment, he continues to work on his blog and his next novel.

He also runs everything past his cat, Mr Whiskers, for approval, before uploading to his blog.
