600 Posts!!

So this has happened… and I’m quite surprised that 11 months on, and I’m still going.

I think that this is perhaps the longest thing I’ve ever committed myself to, and I mean it when I say, I have no fucking idea how I’ve lasted this long. Granted, as I’m writing this, I’ve still got a backlog of at least 8 prompts that I have to write, and at some point I have plans for a few additional posts, and before I know it, I’ll be cruising through towards 750.

Actually, I just put my nerd hat on and according to my calculations, I’ll hit 750 during the second week of January 2015… that’s a lot of writing between now and then.

So in order of this milestone, I’m going to be completely self indulgent, and I’m going to do a bit of a Throwback Tuesday (because I’m not waiting until Thursday!) and draw some focus back onto some of my creative pieces that I’ve written so far.

I’d love for you to make yourself a gianty-giant cup of coffee and grab a fistful of biscuits and take some time to read them, because I’d love to know what you think. I’m always looking for any kind of feedback, I’m not necessarily in a position to say whether or not my writing is any good, I’m more amazed at the fact that I can get so caught up in what I’m writing and then *BOOM* there’s suddenly 5,000 words.

Please… have a read, and feel free to share your thoughts.

Thanks again for following my randomness and allowing me to indulge in my creativity (and ranting hehehe)

xx

FACT: Excluding the Ready, Set, Done! prompts (because they’re under 1000 words), the remaining 6 creative pieces have a total of around 43,952 words, and if you average it out, is 7,325 words. Perhaps in the future if I get a great creative prompt that I really feel able to develop, I should perhaps aim for between 5,000-7,000 words…?? Thoughts?
